Provincial Point of View
September 12, 2019
I hope you've all had a great summer. I've spent the entire summer in Saskatchewan and have enjoyed the many opportunities to attend events and visit constituents on their door steps. From attending community picnics to annual community AGM's, I've appreciated talking to many of you.
I hope that students, teachers, professors and support staff at schools, U of S and Sask Polytechnic have a productive year as they welcome a record number of students to their classrooms.
As a Cabinet Minister this summer we had an opportunity to visit many communities across the province as Cabinet Meetings were held in Weyburn, Melfort, Saskatoon, Regina, Rosetown and Prince Albert. It was a great way to interact with local community leaders.
This fall will be very busy politically as the Federal Election draws near. Good luck to all candidates that have put their names forward to serve.
As I reflect on a beautiful Saskatchewan summer filled with great events, I thank each and every one of you for all you do to make this province a place we're proud to call home.
I appreciate the many opportunities to make a positive difference in our constituency. Your phone calls, letters, and emails make a big difference in keeping me informed on the issues that matter to you. If you would like me to recognize anyone or have your event mentioned in this newsletter, please don't hesitate to call or email me. Your opinions are important and your letters, emails, and phone calls on any issues relating to the provincial government are welcomed. I am honoured to represent the constituents of Saskatoon Willowgrove.
Enjoy our newsletter and please let us know if you have an event or someone in our community you would like to see highlighted. Of course, the opening of the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital (see story below) was an unbelievable historic day. Special thanks to everyone involved.
