Wishing everyone a happy summer!
There are about 800 students in our constituency celebrating grads! I had the pleasure of delivering over 300 congratulatory letters to grade eight graduates and almost 500 letters to grade twelve graduates in our growing constituency.
It is an extra special day in our house as our son Carter was among those graduating from the grade twelve class from St. Joseph High School. Trish and I joined the many proud parents at the graduation ceremony and feel very blessed that our son had such wonderful mentors throughout his education that helped him realize the value of hard work and equipped him with skills to work toward a bright future.
Graduates in Saskatchewan today have such great opportunities ahead of them. It is especially good to see our graduates staying in Saskatchewan to pursue their education and careers where they have many opportunities.
I encourage all graduates to follow their dreams and work hard to achieve their goals. A special thanks to the teachers who have provided guidance and formed everlasting memories that will guide our children into the future. These young adults are the future of our communities and province. Congratulations to each and every student for reaching this important milestone. Trish and I wish them success and happiness in the years ahead.
