NHL Pre-Season Game in Saskatoon This Saturday!
ENJOYING THE BEAUTY OF AUTUMN IN SASKATCHEWAN WHILE TALKING TO GRADE 8 STUDENTS FROM HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL
The view by the Saskatoon riverbank with the leaves turning colour is absolutely spectacular. I had the pleasure this afternoon of meeting a grade eight class from Holy Family School by the river. They were on an Urban Trek and are working on a unit involving citizenship which includes why individuals would like to get involved in politics. The class was very inquisitive and I really appreciated the opportunity to talk to them and answer questions. Thank you to their teacher Mr. Curtis Howe for allowing me to participate in this activity. Fields trips such as the one today represent a tremendous learning opportunity for the students. Special thanks to Mr. Howe and the many teachers for all they do to make their students learning so interesting.
