MY CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY - KEN CHEVELDAYOFF, MLA, SASKATOON SILVER SPRINGS
Christmas is a wonderful time of year when we celebrate faith, family, peace, harmony, optimism and good will towards others. It is in that spirit that I take this opportunity of behalf of my wife Trish and our children Carter and Paige, to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a healthy & prosperous New Year.
This is a favourite time of year for many but for many there are challenges. Happiness, nostalgia, excitement and reverence are just a few emotions that are experienced this holiday season. Please take a moment to help those in need and take time to enjoy your family and friends. When I think of Christmas growing up in Blaine Lake, I appreciated the small home town feeling where everyone greeting you with a "Merry Christmas" and visiting was the highlight of the season.
Our city and province is home to people of many faith traditions, who celebrate in different ways, but for many of us this season holds special times of sharing with family and friends. I hope that you will have time to join Trish and I Friday, December 18th at our home at 138 Kaplan Green. Please stop by for refreshments, hors d'oeuvres and an evening of visiting. It is such a joy to celebrate this special time of year with friends. I sincerely invite you take time from your hectic schedule to attend our gathering.
Christmas brings family and friends together; it helps us appreciate the love in our lives we often take for granted.
