Keeping our province strong!
2016-17 BUDGET WILL KEEP SASKATCHEWAN STRONG THROUGH A CHALLENGING YEAR
The Government of Saskatchewan is delivering on its Highways 2020 Plan, delivering a $70 million surge in funding for highways repair and maintenance over the next three years.
$30 million of that total will be invested this year, to repair more than 460 kilometres of highways.
“Beyond benefiting economic activity and employment, this surge will be used to make our roads safer.” Highways and Infrastructure Minister Nancy Heppner said. “Despite a difficult budget, we will continue to keep Saskatchewan strong by making key infrastructure investments.”
