A snowy day in Saskatchewan! Drive safely

MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY BE BLESSED ON THANKSGIVING AND THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE YEAR

Thanksgiving Day in Canada has been a holiday on the second Monday of October since 1957. It is a chance for people to give thanks for a good harvest and other fortunes in the past year.   Enjoy this special weekend and take time to celebrate this holiday of peace while reflecting on how fortunate we are to live in Saskatchewan.

Whether you're attending the Saskatoon Musician's Association Gala Showcase 2016, attending Octoberfest, taking in the Quinn Stevenson Memorial Hockey Day, the U of S hockey game, or just spending time with family and friends, take time to cherish the many things in your life to be thankful for. There is nothing more spectacular than a beautiful fall day in Saskatoon.

This weekend always makes me think of the many delicious fall suppers I attended in Blaine Lake and many communities across the province.  Traditions like fall suppers hold fond memories of neighbours and friends getting together to enjoy fantastic food and fellowship.

Trish, Carter, Paige and I send you our warmest wishes for a plentiful Thanksgiving!
