Remembrance Day is a time to thank each and every member of our Canadian Military for their service and sacrifice. They, along with their families made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms. That sacrifice will never go unnoticed.
I am looking forward to attending the Remembrance Day Service in Saskatoon. It is one of Canada's largest indoor Remembrance Day services and will be held at SaskTel Centre, 3515 Thatcher Avenue. The doors open at 9:00 am, choir begins at 9:25 with the service beginning at 10:25. A full parade 2000 strong will take place. This special service can also be viewed with slight tape-delay on local cable TV.
Public transportation is available from various locations: Downtown Special Events Stop (23rd Street & 2nd Avenue) - buses will depart every 15 minutes between 9:00 and 10:15 a.m.
