REMEMBERING LONG TIME PUBLIC SERVANT RICHARD MURRAY
A celebration of Richard Murray's life was held today at Conexus Arts Centre. Richard spent thirty years in the public service with the Government of Saskatchewan. He recently moved from his role as Deputy Minister of Central Services to Deputy Minister of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety. Richard was a force in any room he entered. His sense of humour and wit are the source of many stories, and he always knew how to make people laugh. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, he loved Las Vegas, he loved his family and his friends. It is hard to believe he is gone. Richard left this world too early. He will be missed so much, and by so many.
Heartfelt sympathy to his wife Kathy; his mother, Edith; daughters, Amanda (Ryan) and Chelsea; grandson, Tristan; siblings Cindy (Al), Lance, Jay, Devin (Brad); father and mother-in-law, Frank and Theresa; sister-in-law, Cynthia (Don); nephews Travis (Chey), Dustin, Brendan, Christian and Alexander; niece, Brookelynn; and great-nieces and nephews.
