A Journey to Mental Wellness. This year’s conference will be held in person on October 6th, 2022, at Prairieland Park. The theme this year is Post Pandemic: Emerge from the darkness. We are happy to announce the proceeds of the event will support Possibilities Recovery Center and provide funding for the Youth Intensive Outpatient Mental Wellness Program. In the afternoon, attendees will hear presentations from two of our outstanding speakers, Dr. Jody Burnett, and Kaleb Dahlgren. Our evening session includes a catered meal and an opportunity to hear from our keynote speaker, Stephane Grenier.

Dr. Jody Burnett is a Registered Doctoral Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists who has been providing service to the general public, specializing in service provision to first responders/public safety personnel and their families for the past 18 years.
Kaleb Dahlgren was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in early childhood, Kaleb succeeded at hockey despite the medical diagnosis. Following the horrific Humboldt Broncos bus crash and sustaining a traumatic brain injury, he has returned to the ice and motivates audiences to never admit defeat.

Stephane Grenier is powerful speaker who provides a nice blend of evidence base, personal experiences and humor, allowing audiences a firm understanding of how we need to re-humanize the healing and recovery process.

Please consider purchasing a seat or table at this year’s event, we appreciate your support.

GREAT TURNOUT AT CITY COUNCILOR ZACH JEFFRIES NEIGHBOURHOOD TOWN HALL MEETING

It was a pleasure to join Zach Jeffries, Ward 10 City Councilor and Mayor Charlie Clark Wednesday evening at a town hall meeting held in our constituency.

Several people were in attendance from our neighbourhood in Saskatoon Willowgrove.  There were excellent civic questions and a good discussion about the downtown entertainment district.
