FATHER/DAUGHTER GALA
Last night was an incredible evening at the Western Development Museum. Fathers and their daughters instantly felt the elegance of the "Enchanted Winter Wonderland" as they entered the special gala. The annual Father/Daughter Gala has become a tradition for Paige and I. I have had the honour of escorting my daughter to this gala for the past 11 years. Sincere thanks to the organizers, sponsors and volunteers for their efforts. Several proud dads with their daughters of all ages enjoyed the Festival of Trees at the beautiful Western Development Museum! The night is definitely a highlight of the Christmas season.
The gala is part of the Festival of Trees festivities. This community festival runs from Friday, November 24 - Saturday, December 2. The 2017 theme is inspired by the famous song from the movie, The Sound of Music. It will highlight a multitude of Favourite Things in tree decorations, gingerbread houses, special events and attractions. Click here for additional information.
